Elsie Katherine Whitworth Bryant

Elsie Katherine Whitworth Bryant, 91, of Louisville, passed away December 4, 2020. She was born September 3, 1929 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late James and Donnie Priest Whitworth. She worked at Stewart's Dry Goods and Plainview Preschool and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Upon retirement, she enjoyed her winters in Florida, and she and her husband traveled the United States in their RV. In her later years, she spent her time with her grandchildren and playing dominos with her family.

Elsie was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Robert Bryant; her parents, James and Donnie Whitworth; and her brother, James David Whitworth. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Donna Wheat(Daniel) and Terri Herberger(Steven); grandchildren, Amy Coriell(Michael), Christen Hunt(Bruce), Tony Herberger(Sarah), Katie Selby(Joshua), Andrew Herberger, and Nick Herberger(Jordyn); great-grandchildren, Tyler Hunt(Madison), Jordan Getzen, Zachary Trusty, Zane Trusty, Olivia Coriell, Samantha Herberger, Riley Herberger, Paxton Herberger, Allison Selby, and Henry Selby; sisters, Margaret Brothers, Helen Edwards, and Pat Rice(Kevil); and her brother, Richard Whitworth(Linda).

Services will be private with private entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Elsie's memory can be made to Hosparus or Alzheimer's Association.
