Emma loved feeding animals and was an avid gardener.
She is preceded in death by her husband: JT. Swofford, a grandchild: Dylan Judd and a sister: Elizabeth Goldsmith.
Emma is survived by her two children: Monty Swofford and Kim Allemang (David), sisters: Juanita Bernardin, Audrey Freeman, Cecelia Darland and Carol Moore.
A celebration of Emma’s life will be conducted at 2 pm on Friday, December 19, 2014 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, starting at 12 noon until funeral time.
