Ernest Blaine Paliszewski

Born September 28, 1934 in Johnstown, PA., Ernie graduated from Johnstown High School and went to receive a MBA degree from Gettysburg College. He then joined the US Air Force and retired as a Lt. Colonial. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He had a passion for golf, tennis and, football. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Paliszewski. His memberships include, St. Bernadette Catholic Church and Club 55.

Left to cherish his memory is his three children, Pamela Yannitello (John) of Virginia, Debra Parmely (Bob) of Texas and Joseph Paliszewski of Texas; four wonderful grandchildren, Nicholas Yannitello, Jason Yannitello, Michelle Parmely and Matthew Parmely; and two sisters, Matilda Rizzo and Alice Stasko of Hilton Head, SC

His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Monday, October 31, 2011 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 1395 Girard Drive. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p. m. Sunday October 30, 2011 in the Parlor of the Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home at Westport Village.
