Ernestine H. Mitchell, 92, of Louisville, passed away February 1, 2017. She was a retired cosmetologist and a member of Canaan Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jestine Carter; her grandson, Mark Carter; and her sisters, Virga Mae Ford and Lee Garner. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Luverda Mitchell and Pauline Turner(Robert); 7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; her brother, Rudolph Hunter Jr.; and her nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2pm Monday, February 6, 2017 at Evergreen Funeral Home with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 1pm-2pm Monday.
