Ethel S. Cooper

Ethel Speckner Cooper, 91, of Louisville passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012 with her beloved daughter by her side. She was a former employee for Western Union & member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church .

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin W. Cooper, sisters Mildred Whelan & Mary Beatty, brother George Speckner, Jr.

Survived by her daughter, Michele Renee Thomas, numerous nieces & nephews, special friend Paula Stinnett and also beloved pets.

Special thanks to neighbor, Ivan Parsons & Mike Thompson of Kenwood Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Monday at O.D. White Funeral Home 2727 So. Third Street. Visitation will be 11AM until time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the KY Humane Society, Shamrock Foundation, Animal Care Society or No-Kill Louisville.
