Ethel Louise Ellis

Ellis, Ethel Louise 61, passed away May 30, 2017. She was a very outgoing and adventurous person. She enjoyed bowling, different types of crafts and spending time in the shop working on art with her friends. She also had a love for the television. You could find her cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats or watching old westerns. However, her favorite was the Andy Griffith Show. When the theme song would play, Ethel would move her lips right along with the song. Her favorite meals were from Frisch’s Big Boy and Long John Silver. She loved country music. Most of all Alan Jackson. Her fun personality will be missed. Her parents Jimmy Neal and Wanda Faye Ellis and her dear friends and housemates Alison and Elaine preceded her in death. Her brother James Daniel Ellis, cousins Jennifer Gaddie-James (Bill), Lisa James and Billy Gaddie (Karen) and many dear friends survive Ethel. A service to celebrate the life of Ethel will be held Thursday June 8, 2017 at 6:30pm in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218.
