Mrs. Ethel J. Kessler died at Norton Audubon Hospital on March 27, 2014. She was eighty-six (86) years old having been born February 15, 1928 in Louisville, Ky.

She was the daughter of the late Jerry and Bertha Berry. Mrs. Kessler was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, having been baptized over 64 years ago and was associated with the Audubon Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Mrs. Kessler had faith in the promises of Jehovah God and his Son, Jesus Christ as found in the Bible of living forever on a Paradise earth. She shared this wonderful hope with neighbors, relatives, doctors and nurses in the public ministry of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Mrs. Kessler was married for over sixty-three (63) years to Stanley H. Kessler. She is preceded in death by her husband (Stanley), her father (Jerry Berry, Sr.), her mother (Bertha Berry), and her brother (Jerry Berry, Jr.).

Survivors include sons Michael (wife Sherry), Garry and Daniel (wife Tammy). She is also survived by grandchildren Jonathan Kessler (wife Lara) , Jason Kessler ( wife Chelsie) , Matthew Kessler , Aleiah Kessler and great grandchildren Dylan , Hayden and Olivia Kessler .

Funeral will be held on April 1, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Location will be Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home located at 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Ky. 40218 Visitation will be on March 31, 2014 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
