83, of Louisville, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2010 at the Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital. During her life she had worked for J.C. Penny, Ben Snyder, Bacons and Men-n-Boys Department Stores. She was also a member of the Friendship Court # 22 O of A., Southern Star Chapter # 154 O.E.S. and the Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Eric Holsclaw. She is survived by her husband, Irvin Holsclaw; a son, Gordon (Peggy) Holsclaw; a daughter, Diana (Gary) Metzger; a sister, Madine McGowan; Grandsons, Gary (Julie) Metzger Jr. and Michael Metzger; Granddaughter, Laura Holsclaw; Great Grandchildren, Gary Metzger III and Ava Metzger. Her Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 12:00 a.m. at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with burial at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2:00 till 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
