Evan Paul Callaway passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 19. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on May 4, 2007, to his parents, Emily and Chris Callaway. Evan enjoyed the gym and spending time with his Crunch family, playing basketball, water skiing, playing various video games, and going on long drives. He was incredibly intelligent, solving Rubik’s cubes and was the self-proclaimed chess champion. Evan had a lot of close friends, but he especially adored his older brother, Chase, his first best friend. He had a unique sense of humor, generous spirit, and every smile and laugh he gave was earned. If Evan wasn’t flexing, eating ice cream, teasing the family dog, Luna, or doing a Trump impression, he was giving gifts to his coworkers.
Above all, Evan was a devout Christian, having recently recommitted his life to Christ through baptism. He knew Jesus Christ was his Lord and Savior and openly shared his faith with those he loved. He will be missed immensely.
Evan is preceded in death by his grandpa, Paul Lee Myers; his great grandparents, Martha Jane Myers, Elda May Callaway Lee, JW and Bonita Skelley, JD and Opal Ross; his great aunt, Lana Whittington; and his great uncle, Dan Myers.
