Evelyn Marie Horner, 89, of Louisville passed away peacefully Thursday, October 8, 2015. She was born September 10, 1926 to the late James and Catherine Schaub Welsh. She was a member of the Church of Our Lady and sang in the choir, a former employee of Louisville TARC as a bus driver, but most importantly, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Charles A. Horner, children; Donald E. Cravens (Gina), Dennis L. Cravens (Gwen), Linda J. Norman and Jacqueline M. Mudd (Bill), grandchildren; Chuck, Andrea, Angela, Brandy, Ben and Melody, and 11 great –grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass for Evelyn will be conducted Monday, October 12, 2015 at 10 am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 3511 Rudd Ave. with interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Sunday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd.
