She was born September 19, 1918 in Richmond, KY, the daughter of the late Warren and Nancy Adelaide (Portwood) Simpson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Carl Agee.
Fannie was a homemaker and a member of Lyndon Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Neal Douglas Agee (Brenda), Connie Black, Nancy Moore and Garry Wayne Agee (Donna); five grandchildren, Kimberly Black Maffet (Craig), Todd Agee (Paula), Allan Black, Tim Agee (Tara), Brian Agee (Jennifer); eight great-grandchildren, Jake Agee, Bella Agee, Gabby Agee, Kennedy Black, Reagan Black, Katie Maffet, Alex Agee and Brooke Agee, as well as her sister, Mae Long.
Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until 12:30 PM on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Grove Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville, KY.
