Fay was a retired Special Needs Teacher for JCPS and attended Gospel of Peace Church.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Ballard. Survivors include her only child Hailey McCorkle; sisters Brenda Davis and Sandra Robinson; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:30 Friday February 23rd at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service Friday.
