

Faye graduated from Southern High School in 1964, she married Thomas Edwin Nichols, Sr. on September 7, 1964, and they celebrated almost 50 years of marriage until he passed on April 25, 2014.
They had three sons, Thomas Jr. (Victoria), James Sr. (Shanna) and Patrick (Tennille). They enjoyed their eleven grandchildren; Sarah, Justin, James Jr, Carolyn, MaRita, Timothy, Ariall, Jesse and three step-grandchildren. She had one sister, Joyce Smith and five brothers; Fred, Bill, Jay, Ted and Ron Kilner, nieces, nephews and friends.
Al, a good and trusted friend of the family, looked out for her, kept her company and accompanied her and her sons to the boat after Thomas Sr. passed.
She was the office manager for their business, Louisville Dental Casting until its close upon Thomas Seniors death. She was quite active and always doing something or going somewhere. She volunteered for years at Okolona Wilderness Trail Senior Center until she took the position of Adult Nutritional Supervisor. Faye was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #576 and Highland Park Masonic Lodge #865 Ladies Auxiliary. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Nurses, Doctors and Staff at Norton Brownsboro Hospital for all of their care and kindness that helped them get through such a difficult time.
A Funeral service to celebrate the life of Faye will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 10am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, KY 40219, with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8pm at the funeral home.
