He was born November 4, 1937 in Louisville, the son of the late George Koehler and Henrietta Rice Fegenbush.
In additon to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and John Joseph Fegenbush and one half-brother, John Fredrick Fegenbush.
He retired from Greyhound Bus Lines, then went on to retire from Motor Vehicle Enforcement with the State of Kentucky. He was also a United States Navy Veteran.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Patricia Fegenbush; one son, Jim Fegenbush and wife Patsy; one daughter, Laura Wade and husband John; nine grandchildren, Luke, Aaron and Anna Fegenbush and Amy, Ben, Elijah, Ethan, Caleb and Abigail Wade; two half-sisters, Rose Lee and Helen Lineham and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 14, 2011 at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3 - 8 PM on Thursday and from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
