Forrest Lee McNally Jr.

Huntersville, NC/ Osprey, FL: Forrest L. McNally, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 3rd , 2019 surrounded by his family. He is proceeded by his parents Forrest L McNally Sr., wife Marie McNally (Richards), brother John(Jackie) McNally, and daughter Kimberly Ann McNally. He is survived by his dedicated wife of 62 years, Sharon L. McNally (Riley), (3) children-Melaine Marie McNally-Nichols of Osprey, FL, Kevin Lee McNally and wife Angela McNally of Atlanta, GA, and Brian McNally and wife Kristin of Huntersville, NC and their (3) grandchildren Ryan, William and Marissa. He is also survived by brother Timothy John McNally & wife Jacobina (Beanie) McNally of Louisville, Kentucky.

Forrest attended Flaget High School and later graduated from Bellarmine College in 1957. He was an honorable member of the Order of Kentucky Colonels as well as the Jaycees and loved watching University of Kentucky ballgames.

Forrest’s worked for over 30 years in sales with Unitog Company located in of Kansas City, MO. He lived and retired in Osprey, Florida to pursue his hobbies of sailing and biking. During his retirement he volunteered in many groups in their Southbay neighborhood. His biggest passion was their border collie named Buck.

Visitation will be Thursday January 10th 2PM-8PM at Arch L Heady Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10AM on January 11th at St. Raphael the Archangel 2141 Lancashire Ave., Louisville, KY 40205. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
