Fran was born on July 28, 1944 to the late Warren Harding and Frances Elizabeth Sheeley.
She retired as a JCPS teacher and was once a member of Lynnhurst United Church of Christ.
Fran was an avid reader and enjoyed crafts. Along with her parents, her daughter, Karen Renee Long has preceded her in death.
Here to carry on her memory are her children, William “Bill” Warren Long, Stacey Rae Greer (Bob),
Elizabeth Anne Beauchamp (Bryan) and James Clark Long (Theresa); six grandchildren; five great
Grandchildren; and brother, Owen Harding Sheeley (Bennie Jo).
Visitation will take place from 11-2pm Tuesday, May 8th at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A service celebrating Fran’s life will take place immediately following the visitation Tuesday at 2pm, with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that expressions of sympathy be made to a charity of your choice in Fran’s name.
