Born on November 14, 1930, Francena lived a full and memorable life, spanning nearly a century. She was a member of the Fidelis Class of Parkland Baptist Church. She was a beacon of strength, wisdom, and unconditional love for her family. There’s comfort in her beautiful long life she lived.
We will forever miss her warm embrace and gentle guidance. She brought insight truly to the heart of our family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joe R. Greenwood and sister Loretta Bryant.
She is survived by her children, Joetta, Richard Allen, and Willard Greenwood and her grandchildren, Rachel Lee (Rodzewicz) and Oksana Tompkins (Jake).
A visitation for Francena will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. A funeral service will be held the following day, Saturday, July 11, 2026, beginning at 10:00am. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Evergreen Cemetery.
