She was a Registered Nurse for The Altenheim, a member of Broadway Church of the Nazarene, American Nurses Association, and was a Kentucky Colonel.
She was preceded in death by her former husband Warren, husband James, her brother John, and son Ervin.
Survivors include her sons Holland Hayes (Katharine) and Chuck Hayes (Peggy); brothers, Paul H. Lewis, Dr. Holland T. Lewis, and D.D. Lewis, Jr.; her sister, Ruth Ann Docter; four grandchildren, Charlotte, Tiffany, Chase, and Natalie Frances; and three great-grandchildren, Chloe, Harry, and Reggie.
Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 Saturday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, followed by burial at Rineyville Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
