Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Army and then in the United States Air Force. He served his community as a police officer in Cocoa, Florida for many years before returning to his hometown Louisville, Kentucky. Jerry was also a long time member of St. Rita Catholic Church.
His wife Doris and grandson, Joshua LaFollette preceded Jerry in death.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Chris LaFollette(Melody), and Sam LaFollette(Pamela) and grandchild, Joel LaFollette(Casey).
A Memorial gathering will be held Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 4-7pm in the chapel of Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home in Okolona with a Memorial service at 7pm.
