Frank’s love of music far exceeded passion—both as a musician and a fan. A self-taught bassist, guitarist, and songwriter, he was an incredibly gifted artist whose talent was admired and respected by his fellow musicians and music lovers alike. He will be remembered for the music he left us, his witty sense of humor, and his infectious, unmistakable laugh.
Frank was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Harriet “Granny” Green, and his father, David Green. He is survived by his siblings Laura Brochu (Thomas), Michael Green (Barbara), Kellie Streible (Wesley), and (Harriet’s 3rd son) Scott McKenzie (Victoria); many nieces, nephews, and extended family who loved him deeply; and his chosen family—the dear friends and bandmates who stood beside him in every chapter of life, sharing his love of music, laughter, and loyalty.
Music was not only Frank’s career but his greatest joy—the thing he truly loved to do above all else. His life and legacy will continue to resonate in every note, chord, and lyric he shared with the world.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 26th, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Four Pegs Smokehouse and Bar in Louisville, Kentucky.
