Fred was born August 6, 1954, to the late Fred and Beatrice Hollenbeck.
He was a retired Police Officer having served with the University of Louisville, The City of Louisville, the Crown Plaza Hotel and the ATF. Fred was an outdoorsmen and was also an avid gardener.
He was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 45 years, Barbara Hollenbeck; daughter, Leslie Hollenbeck (Jeremy Sleigh); siblings, Dorothy Baron and Barbara Hobbs; grandchildren; Aiden, Lilith and Gabriel.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, 2:00 pm, at Evergreen Funeral home. Visitation will be after 12:00 pm Monday until the time of the service.
The family would like to request memorial donations in Freds' name be directed to Hosparus of Louisville.
