Freddie Ann Charles

passed away on March 30, 2025.

Freddie graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. She was a Home Economics teacher and worked at the Medical Clinic of Houston as an Office Manager. Freddie moved to Laguna Beach, CA and spent many, many years as a volunteer for the Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) of Orange County.

She then moved to Ft. Worth, TX in 2021 to be near their Texas family. They enjoyed Sunday visits with their son and daughter in law, and grandkids eating BBQ fresh off of Andy’s Traeger.

In October 2024, they moved to Louisville, KY to be with their daughter and family.

She is preceded in death by parents, Fred L. Wallace and Annette W. Wallace, and love of her life for 59 years John E. Charles.

Freddie is survived by sister Judith E. Suchadoll; daughter Leslie Burton (Eddie); son John Andrew Charles (Robin); Grandkids Ashley Bratcher (Josh); Travis Burton; Cole Charles (Kaylie); Morgan Milligan (Justin); Reagan Charles; and Evan Charles. Great Grandkids Olivia Russell and Mia Bratcher; Lainey Milligan; Kyson Charles and Colson Charles. Nephews Todd Suchadoll (Chris) and Jeff Suchadoll (Amy).

Freddie will be cremated with a joint service and inurnment with John at White’s Chapel Methodist Church Columbarium in Southlake, Texas. A Celebration of Life at White’s Chapel will take place at a later date.
