Freida M Pfleider

After graduation from Shawnee High School, Freida joined the stock brokerage business. She was the first female Operations Manager in the country for Prudential/ Bache Corp and was a true leader of her time.

Freida was also known for her love of animals and volunteered for the Kentucky Humane Society. She soon became known as the Dachshund Lady and adopted one of these babies whenever they came in for adoption. The Kentucky Humane Society named her their first Volunteer of the Year many years ago.

Frieda is predeceased by her parents, her husband Jack, her son Michael, her brother Douglas Moxley, and great grandson Jackson Pfleider.

She is survived by her son, Terry (Nicki), daughter in law Lisa Pfleider, grandsons Patrick (Stephanie), Kyle (Monica), and great granddaughter Kylie Pfleider. She also leaves behind her beloved Dachshund, Dolly.

Visitation will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218 on Friday March 24, 2023 from 5PM-8PM. A funeral service will be held the next day on March 25, 2023 at 10AM in the funeral home chapel.
