Freydoun "Fred" Monajjem, devoted husband and loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, steadfast follower of the Baha'i Faith. His doctors called it heart failure, those close to him know he died of a broken heart, reuniting at last with his beloved Vida, wife of 67 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife Vida, sister Payandeh, and brother Shapour.
He is survived by and will be missed by his children, Mojdeh (Greg Brown), Navid (Brenda Adcock), and May (Mike Reich); grandchildren Rachel (Matt Jarvis), Regan (Juan Torres), Sarah (Royce Collins), Chandler (Hannah Bailey), and Justin; great-grandchildren Anna, Owen, Jack, and Mia; and his brother Farhang.
No flowers, please. In memoriam gifts can be made to the American Kidney Fund.
