Freymond Odell Dennison, 95, passed away at home and went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He gave his life to Jesus and trusted in his restoring and sustaining power to see him home. Freymond was born on June 23, 1926 in Logan County, KY to Marvin and Rosa Dawes Dennison, and was a long-time member of Cloverleaf Baptist Church. As a World War II Veteran, he served in the European campaign with the 1st Armored Division, and retired after 31 years from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation and 22 years from National Distillery. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Shirley Walters Dennison, sister Mary Russell and Daughters Joyce (Sam) Jones, Deborah McDonough, Kathy (Doug) Lunsford, Sheila Parvis, Stephanie (David) King, 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Sharon (Lou) Pell, son Stephen Dennison, granddaughter Natalie Parvis Nichols and sisters Geneva Mitchum and Alice Sweeney. The proud patriarch of our family, we will miss his witty humor, one-liners and Freymondisms.
