I am so sorry for your loss of such a great man, son, brother and uncle. And, I'm sorry I was not able to pay my respect before now, as I did not find out about his passing until just this week.

Gary, or "Hoss" as we all knew him, was such a nice guy to deal with in business, as a friend or just another car guy! Although I have known him since high school, we were not really close, but I considered him as a friend. Having had him work on several different cars, over the years, I would never hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing paint or bodywork performed on their vehicles. He was always willing to stop what he was doing to give an estimate, shoot the bull or to just say hey...

He will be greatly missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Hoss was a great person and very talented in his field of work. I remember the first time I meet him when we were both in my cousins wedding "David and Sandy Mattingly" he was so nervous he was going to make me fall while walking down the aisle. Enjoyed watching him and David and Mark in the demolition derby's at the motor speedway at the fairgrounds. He was a joy to be around. Remember what Acts 24:15 promises is the resurrection of both righteous and unrighteous. We will see him again soon.

We enjoyed the Cartwright for many years years at Fairdale Christian as we had many lunches after church together with Darlene ad Gary (he and Phil enjoyed each other so much) so sorry we could not come to visitation as Bill is in nursing home and I am in bad health also but my thoughts and prayers are with you all and may you find comfort in Gods promise of eternal life. Gary was such a kind person. He always went out of his way to work things out for us and our kids when we had mishaps with our cars.
Gary was in my Sunday school class when we were kids. He was always welcoming and kindhearted to me.
Prayers for his family.
