I miss you terribly, dad. There are so many times I go to pick up the phone and call to talk to you about something that is happening in this crazy world, only to realize I can't call you.

Thank you for working so hard to provide for all of us. Thank you for putting up with my moodiness. Thank you for being you.

You are very loved.

I think Gary was one of the best neighbors a person could have.He would get my paper and put it on my doorstep so I didn't have to get out in the rain, snow or just to keep me from falling . I'm 93 years old and he would help me in any way he could.He was always cheerful and kind, He loved his family and was so proud of his wife and family. I will miss him every day and remember his smile and good nature.   God rest your should my dear boy.

He did not understand the story but he liked the Angel's.  On. October3rd the littlest angel was joined by the newest angel.  Rest on peace Baby Brother.  I love you so much

The first time I met Gary was at the Saturday Night Potluck at Ken Bowl.  I was just starting to get back into bowling after a long break, and nothing was working.  I remember shooting one of the worst sets I’ve ever shot and Gary, who didn’t know me from Adam at the time, walked up and asked me how long I’d been bowling.  I told him I’d been back for less than a year.  He proceeded to give me a pep talk, and he told me he’d be there to congratulate me when I shot my first honor score.  Two and a half years later in a summer league at Executive, I shot my first 300.  Right behind my teammates was Gary, with a big smile and waiting to give me a high five.  I’d long forgot about that night at Ken Bowl, but Gary didn’t.  He immediately said how happy he was, and reminded me that he promised not to miss my first one.  To a new bowler, that absolutely meant the world.  My condolences go out to the entire family.  Gary was a true gentleman, and one of the most kind-hearted and genuine individuals I’ve ever met.  Everyone who knew him will have a giant hole in their lives, and he will be missed by the entire Louisville bowling community.  To Karen, Chris, Tim, and the rest of the family, you are all in my prayers.
