Gary M. Hobbs, 66 of Louisville, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2026. He was born May 11, 1960, to the late Martin Earl and Doris Ann Wathen Hobbs. He was a graduate of Bishop David High School. He worked as an EMT and was employed with LG&E.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson: Joseph Robert Harris.
Left to cherish Gary’s memory are his daughters: Michelle Harris (Jayme) and Tara Rhudy (Chuck); his grandchildren: Noah, Colton, Ethan, Annabeth, Amelia, and Jesse; his two siblings: Karen Hobbs and Danny Hobbs (Stacey).
Visitation will be 3-8 PM Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Arch L Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218. A service to honor Gary will be 10 AM Friday, August 7 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
