A native of Louisville, he was employed as a mechanic with B. P. Gas Stations. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene McAdams.
Survivors include his children, Gary Jr. and Jeffrey McAdams, Tommy Proctor, and Jeremy Grubbs; fiancé, Judy Atherton; brothers, Stan McAdams and Billy McNulty; sisters, Judy Bryant (Rick) and Peggy Dupin; longtime friend, Gwenna Hornback; and companion, Chopper Dog.
Funeral services will be noon Friday at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, 9a.m. -8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until service time on Friday.
