Bud's laugh was from ear to ear and infectious. I know that was only one of many reasons my big sis, Judy, was "lovesick" over him. He and Judy taught me to play euchre and pinochle when I was in the 7th grade at the kitchen table at your Grandma and Grandpa Proffitt's home. I still enjoy euchre when I have the opportunity. First they lived at his parents where they met (Grandma & Grandpa Payne lived across the back alley), Judy met Gary when he was working on cars in the garage behind the house. It's what he always did and did well. She then babysit Pam. I spent time with them there and at their first house off Dixie highway. Later I visited in Fairdale with my kids. I also visited his garage and beauty parlor he bought your Mom that was right together. I think it was on Dixie Hwy. Your Dad fixed and painted Greg and my first car, a red Granada, after a wreck in Columbus, IN, at their home in Fairdale. I loved your Dad, and I love you Travis/Beth and Misty, Luke, and Jaden!! Both you Travis and you Misty have your Dad's spectacular, winning smile!! I am so very proud of each one of you! My prayers and love are with you every second! I am always here and hope we can spend time together, Aunt Jerri
