Gary Charles Riddle

Gary Charles Riddle 67 passed away June 20, 2018. He was born in Augusta Michigan on August 21, 1950 to the late Charles and Elvia Riddle. His sister Janice Cheeseman also preceded Gary in death. He moved to San Francisco California in 1962 and attended Galesburg-Augusta Elementary school in Michigan, high school George Washington in San Francisco CA. He attended San Francisco State University as well as the San Francisco Art Institute. At the age of 17 he began to work at Standard Oil gas station pumping gas and servicing cars. He later began driving truck for Chevron and retired from there 35 years later.

Gary loved riding his Harley, camping, fishing, listening to music, recusing dogs, traveling, and going to the gym. He also enjoyed reading, gardening, playing musical instruments and creating art whether it be through painting, clay, candles or jewelry.

Gary leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter Rachael (Riddle) Gelhar, grandson Mitchell Gelhar, siblings Ruth Riddle and Barry Riddle. He is also survived by the mother of his daughter, Sue Ellen (Blum) Riddle, and other loves in his life Siobhan Martinez, Madlen (Daniel) Riddle, daughters by marriage Michelle Bough (Michael) and step grandchildren Mason and Jennifer Riddle and Lauren (Fletcher) Riddle.

A service to celebrate the life of Gary will be held Sunday July 22, 2018 at Dyer Hill Baptist Church 1243 US Highway 60 E, Smithland Kentucky at 2:00pm.
