He was born to the late Nancy and Gene Paulin, Sr. In addition to his parents, his sister, Vicki Paulin Gaddie and wife, Cynthia Paulin preceded him in passing.
Gene started working as a young man with the family business. Paulin Electric became Gene’s career as he became older and finished school. Throughout his life, he enjoyed building things, especially his model trains and airplanes. As an avid UK fan, he most enjoyed watching the University of Kentucky wildcats play any sport. After Gene retired from work, he started to drive around and site see many of the surrounding lakes to go fishing. He loved his nights away with his daughters to Belterra. He also developed an online family through his computer gaming. His pride and joy was his family. Being called Pawpaw and spending time with his daughters and their families were the days he looked forward to most.
Here to cherish his memory is his children; Stacy Brooks (Tony) and Ange Gellhaus (Adam), grandchildren, Sumer, Cameron, Reese, Adam, Dawson and Nolan. Siblings: Catherine “Kate” Joyce (George), Sandra Catlett (Sidney), Stanley “Butch” Paulin (Vicki), and Lisa Dorsey (Ricky) and his loyal furry companion, RC.
