Gene C. "Konk Konk" Wilkerson

Gene C. Wilkerson "Konk Konk", 82, of Louisville, KY passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Gene was born on July 27, 1935 in Mortons Gap, KY. He was a Deacon at Brookview Baptist Church and retired from Gamble Brothers after 49 years of service.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos C. and Thelma Wilkerson; sister-in-law, Sue Wilkerson; and nephew, Eric Wilkerson.

Left to cherish Gene's memory are his siblings, Larry Wilkerson (Barbara), Carolyn McNutt (Steve), Harold, Jerry Wilkerson (Sharon); nieces and nephews, Sheila Wilkerson, Nathan Wilkerson (Keasha), Aaron Wilkerson, Jennifer Jeanette (Kenny), Robin Anderson (Kevin), Stephanie McNutt, Bryan Wilkerson, Gregg Wilkerson (Amy), Jason Wilkerson (Chrissi); great nieces and nephews, Nikki Wells, Jordan Wilkerson, Brandon Jeanette, Matthew Jeanette, Ashley Wilkerson, Austin Wilkerson, Andrew Wilkerson, Cassidye Wilkerson, Grant Wilkerson, Bradley Wilkerson, Zane Wilkerson; and great-great niece, Collins Mae Wilkerson.

The Funeral Service is Saturday, April 22, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home with visitation being Friday from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
