She was preceded in death by her son, Ben Monhollen; and her husband, Chester Gates.

Survivors include her granddaughters, Lesley Morris(Eric) and Mary Beth Stoltz(Keith); 3 great-granddaughters; daughter-in-law, Terry Monhollen; sisters, Nadine Fritsch and Ann Jones; her favorite nephew, A. J. Campbell; her very special neighbors and caregivers, Pam and Steve Eilers; special niece and caregiver, Phyllis Collard; and many other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Tuesday at Arch L. Heady Russman & Sons Funeral Home, 1201 E. Oak St., with interment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8pm Monday.
