Geneva Johnson, 104, of Louisville passed away June 18, 2014. Geneva was born in Campbellsville Kentucky to the late Charles E. and Florence Farmer Maupin. Ms. Johnson was a former member of the Harmony Baptist Church, and she loved to cook.
Geneva is survived by two sons, Donald Johnson and Elsworth (Ann) Johnson, two brothers Charles E. ‘Jr.’ Maupin Jr. and William ‘Billy” Maupin, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Carmon Johnson, her sons; Fred L., Frank D., and William C. Johnson, and her sisters Bernice Timmering, and Mary McKeen.
A Celebration of Geneva’s life will be 12pm, Monday June 23, 2014 at Arch L. Heady Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 1-8pm Sunday June 22, 2014 at the funeral home.
