Brooking, George P, 78, entered into eternal rest on August 29, 2014. George retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years, loved bowling, fishing and hunting. He was also a member of the Farmdale Church of the Nazarene.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Edward and Nellie Brooking; and sons, Timothy Paul Brooking and Gregory Wayne Brooking.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 52 years, Alice; sons, Rusty Brooking (Lisa), John Brooking (Elaine), Jeff Brooking, Doug Brooking (Christina), and Kevin Brooking (Melissa); grandchildren, Jessica, Renee, Jonathon (Courtney), Dustin, Caitlyn (Brad), Chelsea, Carl, Cameron, Corey, Gabrielle, and Mia; great grandchildren, Alex, Bayley, Brayden, Damian, Cheyenne, Daisy, Abigail, and Kairi; brother, Howard Brooking; sister Mildred; and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday at 12pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2pm-8pm at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
