He was an Army Veteran of World War II. Worked for Kosmosdale Cement plant and the Jefferson Special Police.
George is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy “Dottie” Ashby Fromm and their son, Curtis Robert Fromm Sr.
He is survived by his children, Richard Fromm and wife Lisa, Debbie Standiford and husband Louis, Kim Wheatley and husband J.R. and Valerie Stuckel and husband Glenn, daughter-in-law, Cindy Combs Fromm.
George is also survived by twenty grandchildren and many great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
A funeral service to celebrate George’s life will be conducted at 10 am, Saturday, February 15, 2014 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 2-8 pm Friday, February 14, 2014 and after 9am the day of the service.
