George H. “Sonny” Vineyard, Jr. was born on October 26, 1934 in Knoxville, TN to the late George Howard and Cynthia (Cox) Vineyard, Sr. and passed from this life on September 26, 2018. Mr. Vineyard was retired from the old International Harvester. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 64 years, the former Marie Collings; sons, Dennis (Janell),Terry (Dreama), Jeffrey (Treva) and Scott Vineyard (Cara); a sister, Bobbie Arnold; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be private with entombment in Evergreen Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-8 pm at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Memorial gifts may be made to Shirley’s Way. Online condolences may be shared with the family at, www.archlheadysouthernfh.com.
