George Adam Wilbert Sr., 80, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024 with Samantha and Ruby by his side. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Robert and Ruby Wilbert Sr. He was a machinish for a few companies such as Brown and Williamson and Mother's Cookies. George was laid back and enjoyed playing cards, fishing and old cars, especially his Jaguar.
Preceding George in death were his parents; son, George Adam Wilbert Jr; and brother, Mack Wilbert.
Left to cherish his memory is his granddaughter, Samantha Jackson (Thomas); great grandson, Audric Adam Jackson; great granddaughter, Georgia Aeralin Faye Jackson; son, Robert Adam Wilbert; Siblings, Robert Wilbert, Ruby Swenson, Annie Wright (Jim); several nieces and nephews and extended family.
Visitation for George will be Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 1:00pm to 7:00pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 8519 Preston Highway, 40219. His funeral service will be Monday, September 9, 2024 at 12:30pm, at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
