Georgia A. Grasch
December 30, 1922 – March 12, 2023

Georgia Anna (Porter) Grasch,100, of Otisco, Indiana, passed on Sunday March 12, 2023 in Florida. She was born on December 30, 1922 in Buechel of Jefferson County, Kentucky. Georgia was a 1941 graduate of Fern Creek High School; a member of Mt. Washington, KY Methodist Church; worked as a nurse’s aide at nursing homes for 23 years. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, flower gardening, reading, crossword, and jigsaw puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lucian Larkin and Melissa Ellen (Payne) Porter; four brothers, Arthur, Leon, Thurston, and Charles Porter; five sisters, Thelma Armstrong, Mary Ellen Porter, Mabel Hardy, Sarah Wisehart, and Lounette Weber.
Georgia is survived by her son, Dennis Grasch (Gail); and daughter, Doris Gauthier (Gary). She is also survived by grandchildren Matthew Craig and Derek Craig (Hannah); great-grandchildren, Knox and Juniper Craig; and also nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday March 23, 2023, from 3 to 7 PM and resuming Friday at 11 AM until the time of
the service at noon on Friday, at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd, in Louisville, KY.
