Georgia May Staab, 89, of Louisville, passed away Friday, July 27, 2012, at Baptist Hospital East. She was born November 11, 1922 in Minden, NE, to the late Clarence T. and Martha Ellen Fleming Andersen. She was the loving wife of the late Milton Staab. She was also preceded in death by her son, James Staab.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Traer (Robert) of Claremont, CA, Katherine Morsbach of Chicago, IL, Margenne Njus (James) of St. Paul, MN, and Barbara Carter of Louisville, KY. She was the proud grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A service to celebrate the life of Georgia will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday at Christ Church United Methodist, 4614 Brownsboro Rd., with a graveside service at 3:00 pm at Miller Cemetery in Campton, KY. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Monday at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village.
