

Geraldine “Gerri” Hardman Wagner, 73, left this life for her next journey on September 7, at Norton’s Hosparus Unit, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Ruby Neal Hardman, and her brother Charles, Jr.
Retiring from Dawn Food Products after 25 years of service, Gerri loved to travel and had taken some wonderful trips around the world. A Catholic by faith and a former choir member of St. Paul Parish, she was fortunate to have traveled to Rome with her choir to sing for Pope John Paul II.
Gerri was a loving daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend, and they will all miss her immensely. She is survived by her sons David, Philip, Jeffrey, and Mark (Lynn), as well as her brothers Bob (Bev), George (Karen), Mickey (Pat), and sisters Mary Ann Baker (George), Lorie Nohalty, Sheri Yager (Ray), a sister-in-law Evelyn Hardman, and former daughters-in-law Kim Wagner, Sue Wagner, and Lesa Wagner. She leaves behind 11 grandchildren: Sarah, Martin, Katelyn, Shannon, Crista, Kimberly, Stephanie, Jennifer, Amanda, Kelsey, and Andrew. And 5 great-grandchildren: Cameron, Kamden, Tanner, Pryce, and Maddie. Also left to cherish her memory are her dear friends Tim Hollinden and her SSS group. The family wishes to thank her friends and Hosparus for the love, care and visits over the past year.
Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 Wednesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2 to 8 pm. Cremation was chosen.
