Born to the late Wilbur and Rose Moody, Gerry is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Morrisey; her siblings Thomas Moody and Allen Moody; and her nephew Greg Moody.
Here to carry on her memory are her siblings, James Moody, Samuel Moody, Tony Moody, and Jane Westray; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Gerry was a licensed beautician for over 45 years. She loved her family and made sure to attend every family function. A practicing Catholic, Gerry was a member of Guardian Angels Catholic Church. In her spare time, she loved to golf, bowl, and travel.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY, 40218. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow beginning at 11:00 AM at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 6000 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY 40219. Gerry will be laid to rest privately in Resthaven Memorial Park.
The family would like to extend their thankfulness and gratitude to the staff at the Hildegard House. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Hildegard House in Gerry's honor.
