Gerald was a manufacturing engineer for Tube Turns a division of Sypris Solutions for 39 years. He was a 53 year member of Highview Baptist Church where he served as a deacon,usher and worked with the RA's.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his two sisters, Doris McLane and Billie Mueller, three brothers, Roger Belk, Jimmy Belk and Bobby Belk.
Gerald is survived by his wife of 59 1/2 years, Carolyn Belk, their children, Leigh Ellen Belk, Brian D. Belk and one grandson, Zachary Wayne Riley. He is also survived by his two sisters, Barbara Holcomb and Debbie Bragg and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held from 11 AM - 2 PM on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. with a funeral service to follow at 2pm. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the: Autism Spectrum, Crusade for Children or the MS Society.
