Gladys McDonald Bentley

Gladys McDonald Bentley, 100, of Louisville, passed away March 26, 2012. Her life was devoted to her home and family. She was the fourth child of the late Robert and Betty Pearl McDonald, and a 1930 graduate of Eminence High School. She was a member of Parkview United Methodist Church and Eastern Star Chapter 566. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, James N. Bentley; son, Robert William Bentley; and grandson, Blake Bentley. Survivors include her children, James Ray Bentley(May) and Linda Kay Cornwell(Wayne); 9 grandchildren, Jane, Kathy, Patricia, Robert, Ray, Jamie, Steven, Andrew, and Whitney; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10am Friday at O.D. White & Sons Funeral Home 2727 S. Third St. with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2-8pm Thursday.
