Gladys Green Funk, 77, of Louisville passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Norton Healthcare Pavilion. She was born on October 13, 1936 in Marion County, Kentucky to the late Gilbert and Elsie Padgett Green She was a member of Vine Street Baptist Church and was a retired from Baptist Hospital as Nurse’s Aide.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James Funk and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her three sons, James “Ricky“ Funk, Gary Funk (Mary Kay) and Bradley D. Funk; five grandchildren, Angie Boss, Shannon Hogan, Bradley Funk Jr., Matthew Funk and Scott Funk; seven great-grandchildren and a sister, Helen Cook.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 14, 2014 at 10:00 am at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1 to 7 on Sunday at the funeral home.
