Born to the late Carl Stephany and Josephine Roehrig Stephany, Gladys is also preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Norbert Heim, Sr.; their son Norbert Heim, Jr.; and her brother Carl Leslie Stephany. Here to carry on her memory are her children Janice Clark (Ed), and Kenny Heim (Ricki Barkhurst); grandchildren Patrick Clark (Meghan), Stephany Belcher (Austin), Robbie Heim, Dalton Heim, Matt Heim (Kayla), and Aaron Heim; her 8 great-grandchildren; and her daughter-in-law Connie Heim.
Gladys was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting and playing the piano, but her favorite hobby was spending time with her family at their family gatherings. A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218. A funeral service in Gladys’s honor will be held at 10:00 am Thursday morning at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
