God teaches us through Paul's message in the fifth chapter of 2nd Corinthians that when our earthly life is finished, "we are...absent from the body" but are "present with the Lord." Mrs. Glenda lives in heaven with God, reunited with friends and family who have passed before her, praising our Savior, and waiting for us who -in His timing- will join the heavenly fold . On this (earthly) side of life, Mrs. Glenda was a dear friend and mentor to me; she shared much encouragement and wisdom, even serving as a job reference for when I was applying to work for Kroger. I would like to thank those of Mrs. Glenda's family who saw and comforted me during the short time I was able to attend her visitation. May Jesus envelope all of those who grieve in His loving arms and give peace to all. Love, In Christ, Rebecca (Becca) McKinney

MAY THE ROAD RISE UP TO MEET YOU. MAY THE WIND BE ALWAYS AT YOUR BACK. MAY THE SUNSHINE WARM UPON YOUR FACE. MAY THE RAINS FALL SOFT UPON YOUR FIELDS. AND UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, MAY THE LORD HOLD YOU IN THE PALM OF HIS HANDS. THE IRISH BLESSING

Aunt Glenda I will miss you and your smile so much. You have been a rock for your “girls” and I pray they find comfort at this sad time. I will always love you!

Some of my earliest memories include you.
You were a big part of my life growing up and I always looked up to.
You were always such a strong woman. Kind and caring.
I find comfort in your passing ONLY because I know you will be reunited with all the ones who loved you so much.
Until we see you again ......
