Glenn T. Sheffield, 88 of Louisville, passed away Friday, July 10th 2015. Glenn was born in Esserville, Virginia, grew up in Benham, Kentucky, and lived in Louisville. Glenn was a longtime resident of Okolona, and retired from General Electric. He was a member of Okolona Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents: Thomas J. Sheffield and Mable Wilson Sheffield and his brother: James Ray Sheffield. Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 65 years: Thelma Frances Wood Sheffield; daughter: Regina Clark (Dennis) of Duluth, MN; son: Glenn Kevin Sheffield (Joanne) brother: Eugene Sheffield of Louisville; nephew: John R. Sheffield (Sharon) of St. Charles, IL. Three grandchildren: Jason Clark, Michael Clark, and Laura Hoemberg, along with four great-grandchildren. Funeral Services for Glenn Sheffield will be held Wednesday, July 15th at 10:00am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. Family and friends will be receieved for visitation Tuesday, July 14th from 4-8pm at Arch L. Heady & Son. The family would like to thank the staff at CBC for their care of Glenn.
