Glenn H. Witt,79, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010. He was a native of Harlan County, Kentucky and a retired employee for the General Electric Co. with 34 years of service. He was a member of the Yocum Masonic Lodge #897 and attended the Fern Creek Masonic Lodge #955.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Diana Kay Grooms.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory; his wife of 61 years, Lavada King Witt; his sons, Harold Witt (Joyce), Rick Witt and Kevin Witt (Deborah); his brothers, Aaron Witt, Thomas Witt, Jr., Wayne Witt, James Witt; sisters, Sue Gilbert, Dottie Colquist;son-in-law, Frank Grooms; grandchildren, Kim, Kelly, Alecia, Joshua, Jessica, Leslie, Lauren, Jessica, Jeremy, Ricky, Dawson and Joey; and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral service 12:00 p.m. Monday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 – 8:00 P.M.
